Ladder 12

Originally constructed by Max Bartholomaie & Sons in 1908 as Ladder Co. 12 for the Detroit Fire Department, designed by Kotting & Chittendon Architects. It was used for its original purpose until 1982 when it was decommissioned by the DFD; it sat mostly vacant until purchased in 2014 at auction by Michael Chetcuti & Kyle Evans in partnership with Phil Cooley & Kate Bordine. The future purpose will be a residential split between the two floors. Work beginning in 2015 with anticipated completion in Q1 of 2016.
